Introdução: A pré-eclâmpsia (PE) é uma doença da gestação que apresenta um diagnóstico de hipertensão arterial, com ou sem proteinúria, com edema e tem maior prevalência após a 20ª semana de gestação. O rastreio da Pré-eclâmpsia serve como medida de prevenção, onde é possível identificar os riscos da gravidez e suas complicações. Objetivos: Divulgar o funcionamento do rastreamento de pré-eclampsia, as técnicas de análise Doppler, verificação da pressão arterial de maneira eficaz e, por fim, demostrar a importância desse estudo para a saúde da gestante. Material e Métodos: Foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico na Scientfic Eletronic Library online (SCielo), PubMed, Bireme e Google Academico desde 05/10/2021. Resultados: As desordens hipertensivas são responsáveis por aproximadamente 26% dos casos de mortes maternas, a prevalência da PE é estimada em 3-5% das gestações. A incidência mundial de 2,16%; no Brasil: 4,6%; na América latina: 3,88%. O rastreio da PE, tem como objetivo prevenir e detectar um sinal ou sintoma de uma pre eclampsia, que integra os dados da história clinica, características maternas, ultrassom fetal; marcadores biofísicos e bioquímicos. Alguns autores utilizam diferentes padrões de acordo com os fatores de risco: 1- A Anamnese: identificar 1 fator de risco alto ou ≥ 2 fatores de risco moderados; 2- Recomenda a anamnese o fator de risco alto e USG 11-13 semanas. (ISSHP, 2018); 3- gestantes de 11-13 semanas, algoritmo FMF: anamnese + PAM ± uterinas ± bioquímica). São critérios de rastreio de fundamental importância para diagnosticas a Eclampsia. Conclusão: O estudo demostrou a importância de se fazer um estudo mais criterioso da pressão arterial ao longo do pré-natal, sendo monitorizada, tendo um acompanhamento médico e sua intervenção imediata caso haja aumento da mesma.
