INTERVENÇÕES FARMACÊUTICAS REALIZADAS NA FARMÁCIA UNIVERSITÁRIA DA UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DA BAHIA

Resumo
Introdução: As doenças crônicas não transmissíveis (DCNT) estão entre as principais causas de mortalidade no mundo. No Brasil, a prevalência de DCNT decresce 1,8% ao ano devido às ações na atenção primária à saúde. Problemas relacionados a medicamentos (PRMs) são encontrados entre os portadores de DCNT, evidenciando a importância do farmacêutico no cuidado em saúde, a fim de proporcionar melhorias terapêuticas. Objetivo: Assim, este trabalho teve como objetivo descrever o perfil das intervenções farmacêuticas realizadas no acompanhamento farmacoterapêutico de portadores de DCNT na Farmácia Universitária da UFBA (FU-UFBA), de setembro de 2019 a fevereiro de 2020. Material e métodos: Baseado no desenho de pesquisa descritivo e transversal (CEP UFBA n. 2.578.262), foram utilizados dados secundários do banco de dados da FU-UFBA. As intervenções farmacêuticas realizadas foram classificadas como: aconselhamento ao paciente/cuidador sobre tratamento medicamentoso, medidas não-farmacológicas, acesso e armazenamento dos medicamentos, tabela para orientações de horários e administração de medicamentos, alteração e sugestão na farmacoterapia e encaminhamento a outros profissionais. A análise dos resultados foi realizada a partir do cálculo de frequência pelo Microsoft Excel. Resultados: Dos 22 pacientes assistidos, observou-se predominância de pacientes do sexo feminino (90,9%) e faixas etárias de 40 a 75 anos. As DCNT mais frequentes foram: hipertensão arterial (50%), diabetes mellitus (22,7%) e doenças cardiovasculares (40,9%). As intervenções farmacêuticas realizadas foram: encaminhamento (81,8%), alteração e sugestão na farmacoterapia (45,5%) e informação/aconselhamento (81,8%). Os PRMs foram: duplicidade de medicamentos (9,09%), reações adversas ao medicamento (50%) e interações medicamentosas (22,7%). Conclusão: Dessa forma, o estudo demonstrou prevalência de pacientes hipertensos, do sexo feminino e faixas etárias variadas, os quais apresentavam reações adversas a medicamentos. Tais levantamentos foram importantes para elaborar planos de intervenção farmacêutica e proporcionar melhoria na qualidade terapêutica dos pacientes da FU-UFBA.
