ANÁLISE DAS INTERNAÇÕES POR DOENÇA DE CROHN NO ESTADO DO PIAUÍ

Resumo

Introdução: A doença de Crohn (DC) é caracterizada por inflamação transmural do intestino que pode afetar qualquer parte do trato gastrointestinal, apresenta manifestações intestinais heterogêneas, assimétricas e granulomatosas. Objetivo: Descrever a prevalência das internações por Doença de Cronh no estado do Piauí. Material e Métodos: Estudo epidemiológico descritivo realizado por meio da busca de dados no sistema DataSUS (SHI/SUS) referente a morbidade hospitalar do Sistema Único de Saúde por Doença de Crohn e colite ulcerativa, por local de internação do período de 2008 a 2020. As variáveis analisadas foram: estado, número e valor gasto de internação e por serviços hospitalares, taxa de permanência na internação e mortalidade por caráter de atendimento, sexo, faixa etária, raça/cor. Os dados foram tabulados no programa Excel. Resultados: Entre janeiro de 2008 a agosto de 2020 foram contabilizados no estado do Piauí 1.280 internações, com média de permanência de 12,4 sendo a capital Teresina com maior número (978) seguido pela cidade de Castelo do Piauí e Floriano com (86). O ano de 2016 foi o mais prevalente. O valor gasto total pelas internações chegou a R$ 860.514,89 e com serviços hospitalares foram R$ 758,785, 33. Neste período internaram pacientes na faixa etária entre 30 a 39 anos e somente 11 internações de criança de menor de um ano. Quanto ao gênero foram internados 678 pacientes do sexo masculino e 604 femininos com a prevalência da cor parda. Quanto à taxa de mortalidade por caráter de atendimento eletivo foi 2,73 e 3,78 na urgência. Conclusões: As internações decorrentes por DC no Piauí é mais recorrente no sexo masculino e com maior prevalência na capital, dessa maneira, o sistema público de saúde deve oferecer serviços especializados de assistência e promoção de saúde para esse público visando à diminuição de internos e, consequentemente, os custos e mortalidade.
