PANDEMIA DA COVID-19, VACINAÇÃO, MOVIMENTO ANTIVACINAÇÃO, EDUCAÇÃO EM SAÚDE
Resumo
Introdução: A Covid-19, doença provocada pelo Coronavírus da Síndrome Respiratória Aguda Grave 2 (SARS-CoV-2), é uma emergência de Saúde Pública de importância internacional que teve início na cidade de Wuhan, China, em dezembro de 2019 e se espalhou rapidamente em várias regiões do mundo, com diferentes impactos, sendo declarada Pandemia Mundial em março de 2020. Uma doença altamente contagiosa e sem tratamento preventivo e curativo específico, sendo as medidas de prevenção e a vacinação as únicas estratégias comprovadamente eficazes de enfrentamento, o que tem fomentado as expectativas e debates no campo científico e político. Objetivo: O texto que se apresenta tem por objetivo analisar a importância da Educação em Saúde como estratégias de enfrentamento do movimento antivacina da Covid-19, considerando as questões sociais, políticas e comportamentais que permeiam este cenário. Material e métodos: Trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratória, de natureza qualitativa, desenvolvida por meio de revisão bibliográfica e documental, considerando a literatura pertinente e os documentos normativos – jurídicos que versam sobre a temática. Desde que foi dada a corrida à descoberta e produção de vacinas com o intuito de frear a disseminação do vírus Covid-19, houve divisão de opiniões no tocante à aceitação entre se vacinar ou não. Ressalta-se que todas as vacinas com registro da Agência Reguladora são seguras em todas as idades e que as vacinas são de suma importância para proteger o organismo contra doenças que ameaçam a saúde. Resultados: Os resultados da pesquisa apontam que a vacina é de suma importância para a saúde e que os movimentos contrários às imunizações se manifestam desde a origem das vacinas, no entanto, na última década esses movimentos vem ganhando força e um maior espaço, sobretudo nas mídias digitais, visto que muitas campanhas de antivacinação utilizaram esse meio para perpetuar notícias contrárias as vacinas, em sua maioria vinculados à falta de informação correta, notícias falsas (Fake News) e a carência de discernimento da população no segmento saúde-doença. Conclusão: Uma importante estratégia no combate à doença e a desinformação tem sido a educação em saúde, que pode ser efetivada em espaços formais ou informais, desde que estejam contextualizadas e contribuam com a transformação de modos de vida.
