ASSISTÊNCIA DE ENFERMAGEM, TERAPIA INTENSIVA, TRANSPLANTE RENAL
Resumo
Introdução: O transplante é um tratamento de grande valia para pacientes portadores da doença renal crônica, que é pontuada como a perda gradual e irreversível da função renal, tornando o paciente dependente da terapia renal substitutiva até que seja realizado o transplante renal, objetivando melhorar a sua qualidade de vida. Objetivos: Apresentar a experiência e as atividades vividas durante a recepção do paciente no pós-operatório imediato numa unidade de terapia intensiva. Material e métodos: Utilizou-se a técnica de observação estruturada, a criação de um diário de anotações, consultas ao prontuário, além da prestação direta de cuidados e assistência ao paciente. Resultados: O transplante renal é uma terapia que busca proporcionar o retorno gradual dos pacientes às suas atividades cotidianas, e considerando a progressão dessa enfermidade fica visível o valor desse tratamento para o paciente, bem como para equipe que participa de todo processo. O acompanhamento do paciente no pós-transplante se deu da melhor forma possível, por se tratar do primeiro transplante renal realizado no sudoeste baiano, uma equipe montada apenas para recepciona-lo estava a postos para prestar todos os cuidados necessários para sua recuperação e manutenção das suas funções vitais na manutenção do enxerto. Já nas primeiras horas o paciente já apresentava diurese com um débito satisfatório. Foi emocionante poder estar presente e acompanhar a felicidade que irradiava do paciente. Seus dias de internação seguiram o protocolo criado pela equipe e foram programadas terapias dialíticas de resgate no intuito de auxiliar na sua recuperação. Após quinze dias de internação e com a sua completa recuperação o paciente recebeu alta hospitalar e continua a ser acompanhado pela equipe no pós-transplante. Conclusão: A experiência foi significativa, pois trouxe outro olhar para a assistência de enfermagem na terapia intensiva, por se tratar do primeiro paciente de transplante renal, se tornou um marco importante para a região, e poder participar desse momento traz reconhecimento da importância do profissional de enfermagem no cuidado e na prestação da assistência a esses pacientes.
